Cedric Van Lang and I are particularly fond of solitary treks and their benefits: we appreciate the solitude, the freedom to stop or choose a path at will, the opportunity to open our minds to all impressions and immerse ourselves in the landscapes that we encounter. The thoughts and feelings that one discovers during such an expedition are incomparable, hence the importance of setting this context for our human, psychological and philosophical quest. Thus we have limited our numbers to two, in order to uphold the tranquility that is essential to the shooting. This will be both an intellectual and a physical adventure, where physical exertion, shelter, food and water will be daily challenges. It is not these difficulties however that we seek to highlight, but rather the beauty of the world revealed through a simple lifestyle focused on the present moment.
